Education in Australia - Parliamentary Inquiry
We want to hear from children and young people about school.
What’s easy? What’s hard? What would make things better?
Your voice matters and it can help shape real change.
The End Child Poverty campaign is gathering insights from children and young people to inform a joint submission to the Australian Parliament’s Senate Inquiry into the factors driving educational attainment.
We’re especially keen to understand how income poverty affects your ability to learn, participate, and stay at school.
Your experiences will help ensure decision-makers hear directly from young people and all responses will remain confidential.
Take part in our child-friendly survey and have your say.
📧 You can also send submissions (under 10 pages) to: info@valuingchildreninitiative.com.au
🗓️ By June 10 to be included in the joint submission. Or by filling out this form.

Why this matters: This national inquiry is examining the factors that shape educational outcomes, including the impacts of:
• Socio-economic disadvantage
• Cultural and language background
• School attendance and retention
• Pathways to further education and training.
Together, we can make sure young people’s voices are front and centre in shaping a fairer education system.
